Experience the surreal sensation of floating effortlessly in a specially prepared mineral-rich pan. Much like the Dead Sea, the salt content allows your body to float naturally, offering deep relaxation and a unique memory to treasure.

Salt Safari Eco Tours was born from a deep love for the land we call home a place of quiet magic, where the earth speaks through salt, silence, and sky. Tucked away in the Soutpansberg region of Limpopo, our family has lived alongside this salt pan for 3 generations.
My Brother and I walked their cracked surfaces as children, harvested their gifts with respect, and watched countless sunsets dissolve into their mirrored stillness.
What began as a childhood wonder has grown into a dream to share this extraordinary landscape with others.
We created Salt Safari Eco Tours to invite fellow explorers, nature lovers, and curious souls to step onto these sacred flats not just as visitors, but as part of the story.
Here, you’ll find no crowds only the gentle crunch of salt beneath your feet, the wisdom of ancient minerals, and the surreal sensation of floating in our mineral-rich waters. It’s a place to pause, reconnect, and experience the land in its purest form.
